About the Artist Classically trained in watercolor and paper arts, and with a degree in graphic design, Andrea B. Herman has been a professional artist for 12 years. Working in several different mediums, she has created many commisssioned pieces in both Hebrew and English. Andrea's love for art has inspired her to create a diverse collection of one-of-a-kind pieces that have evolved into a merging of calligraphy and bright watercolors. In fact, her first Ketubah was completed years ago as an artists' exercise to merge these two elements. Andrea uses Hebrew calligraphy that is unique to her. She has created this particular calligraphic style over the years, and it is a recognizable element of her work. Andrea lives and works near Chicago.
